Its a really awesome tool for GMAT prep. I just have a request for something additional on this.

is it possible to have one card on one page of the pdf document. that way i can read it like normal flashcards on my iphone thru iBooks.

Sure. Give me 24 hrs. I will try to release an iBooks version too (will research how possible it is first though)

Do you have a preference for vertical or horizontal layout?

well i don't think it will matter once each flash card is on one page because almost all the phones have the auto-rotate feature and i don't know about other phones but in the iphone it will also adjust the text so that one page can be seen entirely when the screen rotates from vertical to horizontal or vice versa.

Thanks

With two its still very small for the phone screen. Is it possible to make it like only one flash card on one page. For example the first few pages where the link for the gmat club/flashcards is given.

Thanks

BB, when is the best time to use the flashcards? Before starting the GMAT preparation? Or, After completing? Or, While taking the GMAT preparation?

Please suggest as I am going to kick off my GMAT preparation soon.

I think the best usage is to use it as an alternative when you can't use books or else.
It may be best to start using them as you are more comfortable with basics and ropes (so you don't get discouraged, etc) but I don't think it will be wrong whenever.

Note that some people may benefit from building their own flashcards whereas others may not like this style of learning at all - it really depends!

BB, thank you so much! I am actually a flashcards-match. I love studying in this way. I am also opting for sharing my own flashcards in this forum when I will complete mine!

Below is a computer-based flashcard system. I used this while studying a foreign language awhile back. This system, called Mnemosyne, is so helpful because it's adaptive. It lets you rank each card by difficulty level (1 through 5). If it's level 1, then you haven't mastered that particular concept yet. The system then shows that card more frequently. The cards that you can answer easily (level 5) are shown less frequently. This is pretty good, as it allows you to focus on your weaknesses. In a sense, it's the ultimate error log for flashcards. Plus, it's free to download.

Hey all, and thank you for the great flashcards, greatly appreciated!

I have a question though:

On pg.29 Algebra (Hard)

After solving the equation \sqrt{(x-3)^2} you solve it as 3 - x

Why is that? I would have come to the answer x - 3.

Is there a special rule in this case? Any explanation is kindly appreciated!

I'm glad that you like it! Hopefully things work out with it. If not, then members can still individually make their own flashcards with it. Either way, I hope that it helps.
