[quote="neosumit"]If only Ross would have informed about it's loan program for International students being stopped, I would not have wasted my time and effort (including some hundred dollars) to apply.

I am saddened and just left with Olin and Boston University now!

I agree.
Why isn't Ross informing applicants of this?? I'm really surprised especially as they normally are normally very transparent (e.g. Soojin's Blog and the P&Q interview).
Even Wharton emailed their applicants to let them know of the finance changes. Ross should do the same. I think it's unfair and disrespectful to applicants to keep them in the dark.

"Even Wharton" That's hilarious. I love how that school is just known as a soul less pariah. Did you hear they advised prospectives to retake the GMAT or take some quant courses before they released their decisions? Gotta love it!

Hi all - Is there a way to enter more than 2 employers on Page 7 of the Ross application? Or is that the most you can enter and the AdCom will get your prior job info from your resume?

Thanks for any insight! Good luck to everyone in the process!

neosumit, Is it that you are in into Ross, Yale, Tuck but have only selected Boston and Olin because of the loan program for international students? I am an Indian and hence I am worried too. Please clarify....

Does anyone know whether there is a "Check your Application" section in Ross' application ?
I did not find one. Every school has it, but Ross does not.
Does anyone have any idea, or am I missing something ?

HI Guys,

New to the forum, I am applying in R2.

I had a question and was hoping someone could help me out.

I had applied to Ross for Fall2010 and was dinged without an interview.

As per the school, anyone applying again after a year is considered as a new applicant but wanted to know if it is still worth writing the optional essay highlighting the changes in my profile in the last 2 years. The school doesnt ask for a re-applicant essay though!

looking for your views.
Hi GS18, welcome to the forum!

It's a good idea, but don't repeat any points that you've already mentioned in the other essays. That'd just piss them off.

Thumb Rule: Use the optional essay to either indicate a few strengths that you've not been able to mention elsewhere, OR to explain a glaring weakness. Never ever use the optional essay to harp on something you've mentioned in other essays, or to provide a lame excuse for something e.g. poor GMAT score coz you weren't feeling well.

I have a question regarding the GMAT score.
Do we need to send our official score for application evaluation or can self reported scores be used? I understand official scores are required if granted admission, but do we need to send them in as part of our application.
Thanks.

Thanks, I was thinking of skipping it, just wanted some opinion on it. The website clearly says that if applying beyond a a of a year then the application is considered as a new applicant.

Guys, there is no space on the application to list ECs and community service.

I already have my resume in a single page but was thinking of extending it to two pages to include more details on my ECs and Community involvements. Is this what everyone is doing or am i missing something here.

Or is it advisable to use the additional information section (page 10 on app) to upload these details separately.

On the application the section for activities and honors is only for BBA and MA applicants.

Any comments???
