I spy a certain GMATclub member when I hover my mouse cursor over "Integrated Leadership Perspective" :wink:

what's also funny is the girl featured in that photo... I recognize that name from one of my former companies/co-workers. Small world.

Thanks for the link OhDeny, it is a cool/updated way to visualize the curriculum.
I can neither confirm nor deny.

I interviewed through Skype with a 2nd year student recently.

Interview went along the lines others reported. The interviewer was casual and friendly.

Some questions:
- Walk me through your resume / tell me about your current job
- Some behavioral questions regarding leadership and teamwork
- Why business school? Why now? Why Yale?
- Questions for the interviewer (He gave very insightful and detailed answers.)

Total time was about 30 minutes, maybe a few minutes longer.

I just received an email asking me to fill out a survey about the interview experience. Will this impact my application at all? I have a few minor critiques that I would like to provide, but might think twice about including them if this could impact the school's evaluation of me.

I sent some minor critiques with mine and things turned out alright :) I think they'd appreciate honest feedback, so they can better plan events for the future (if you interviewed on-campus).

Granted, any "I don't like this school and my interviewer was mean" comments probably won't go over so well :P

That’s why I chose Yale. Those were my first thoughts after my interview. After our conversation, she emailed me a link to a video of commencement shot entirely by camera attached to Handsome Dan’s back. Given a bulldog’s short height, I instantly connected with the underdog perspective. To anyone with a past like mine that gesture means a lot.

Just wanted to note that I interviewed on campus a few days ago, and I was asked very similar questions to those listed above. In fact, my (quite formal) interviewer stated that he was a "trained 2nd year interviewer" and he had questions that he had to "ask everyone." It wasn't a particularly conversational interview, perhaps due to those constraints, but I tried my best to adopt a warm and familiar tone! I was asked, very similarly to the above poster, the following:

- Discuss your current position and how you got there;
- Discuss a leadership position you served in;
- Discuss a time when you received push-back and how you resolved it;
- Discuss a time when you were running behind schedule on a project;
- Tell me what you will contribute to our campus and community;
- Tell me why you want to do an MBA;
- Tell me why you want to go to Yale; and
- Do you have any questions for me.

Also wanted to add that, per the very lovely and amazing admissions staff, all Round 2 decisions are going to go out on the same date in "late March," so it seems to me that late interviewers are not at a disadvantage!

Just to add another data point for future interviewees: I had a very similar list of questions when I interviewed in Rd. 1 (maybe we had the same interviewer!) - the behavioral questions and standard yMBA/yYale questions were actually identical in wording and order. I was also part of a group that interviewed the last week available and know of a few others from my interview day that were also admitted, so I would definitely say the timing of the interview does not play much of a role in the overall decision.

My general advice would be to really key in on differentiation - what differentiates you in terms of background/leadership and what differentiates Yale. My interview was the first time I had visited campus. If you are in the same boat, make sure you scour the SOM website and student blogs (they really dive into the culture there while giving you more current events to talk about).
