Just got a call too...I'm 26 M, international candidate, currently an engineer. Very excited, especially since I wasn't that confident (I was waitlisted from R1). I submitted update letter and video to Booth.

No, seems pretty random. I think it depends on who is assigned to call you.

They started with some calls to the East Coast applicants and have now started calling internationals, but pretty randomly. My initials are KP so I doubt that's how they're doing it.

Hi all,
I got the call around 7am Chicago time. New admit from South East Asia, with a fellowship for both years :) Now I'm facing a dilemma, whether to choose Wharton (no $) or Booth (with $)...

The woman I spoke with said the system will not update to show a status change until 9 AM CST tomorrow.

Don't loss hope - she mentioned there will be a lot of phone calls to be made so I think those who have received calls are still among the early batches and it may just take time.
