Ward I hear you man... Sloan was the one application I put my heart and soul into...spent nearly 2 months refining and perfecting the application but I guess it was still not good enough... Even flew to Boston to visit the campus meet people etc...The feeling does suck after you know you have put in 150% effort..and invested $$ into it..But such is life .... For me it's case of turning to my backups and hoping one of the remaining two works out.... Well I'm taking the weekend to relax and will start to figure out Round 2 next week...Sigh....Good luck to you mate!

I haven't heard anything either. I did meet a guy from Austin yesterday who interviewed...not sure what that means.

I guess it is over anyways.

Yes, there are many. According to Sloan, if you haven't heard today, then you've been waitlisted or dinged, and you'll get a final response by Nov 15.

That seems to be the trend...not one single US applicant has confirmed an interview receipt this week. On another note, did you really score an 800???

Well, last year I got my waitlist decision on Christmas of all days, so I guess some people at Sloan work on at least some holidays.

Have any interviewees heard anything about bringing transcripts to the interview? Apparently this was required last year, but I haven't read anything about that this year...

Diane Katz, like all of the MIT adcom, is super friendly and easy to talk to. She will have a full page of notes about your application already ready and she will probe into her questions concerning your background. She also asks 2-3 behavioral questions which are of the typical verity which you can find like team work and leadership type questions.

Just know your story, be comfortable and enjoy talking about yourself :)

When you interview on campus, you will get a copy of the "MIT Sloan Student Photobook", it includes all students across all programs at Sloan. I analyzed the class of 2014 and class 2015 backgrounds and its quite amazing. The diversity in undergraduate institutions, past companies, countries. There is no company or school that sends over 10 students to Sloan (except MIT ugrad which sent about 15 to MIT Sloan). Pretty cool :) Just wanted to share.

That's awesome. From visiting campus, I found that the students were also incredibly warm and friendly. For those of you who get a chance to eventually attend, I'm confident you'll have a great time there!
