Just looking back it seems they do things a week early. This would be three weeks in advance. Maybe they are that far ahead but this week seems way too early unless they have sped up the process or had a light R2? Either way good luck!!

True but I think past R2s have been notified rather early as well.
I spoke with a current student at super saturday and they said the number of R2 applicants was down this year. I also recall someone saying that there was more R1 that R2 applicants this year. That could be a reason why they finished so early.
Some R2 decisions will go out this week. FYI, I met some people from R1 that were never called and just received an email indicating they were called and some people I met that were accepted received a call a day before the decision deadline. Good luck everyone!
