Prodizy, I would say the only bad things about the program are geographic. Yes, the weather bad. I don't mind the snow and cold if it is still sunny. And you still have great summers etc. I would just get used to idea of wearing lots of layers etc. Second, I think the program and school could be more diverse. But it is tough for them because of their location. As a metro, the Twin Cities are diverse enough.
I agree with you that the program is on the up. The principal strength to me is their excellent placement record and relationship with top corporations. Their curriculum, faculty, and facilities are also excellent. Finally, I like how it is the only legitimate MBA program in the area. That's instant credibility in the local area (especially for the full-time program).

I have been blessed to have been admitted to the Carlson program with a full tuition scholarship. I have visited and was very impressed with the program. Plan to attend, but am waiting on other schools as well.
I've noticed that there are many Indians on the Carslon forum (even more than normal). Or perhaps a lack of US people. I wonder why? It is a highly ranked program and after all most of the class is American. Anyways, for Indians and others it is a great program. Cheers
