I've received an email on scholarships, but unfortunately weren't good news...

I couldn't take the uncertainty anymore, so I asked adcom for an update about R2 scholarships. I was told that all scholarship notifications will go out by Thursday (tomorrow).

Anyone know what staying with a student during the Destination Johnson weekend is like? Do you just get the couch in the living room, the floor, etc?

Just received invitation to R2 scholarship weekend. But I didn't apply to Park Fellowship. Based on previous comments, my impression is that the scholarship weekend is identify the recipients of the Park Fellowship, with those not selected being offered regular scholarships (perhaps on the higher end of the spectrum). It also seems that named scholarships are NOT awarded during the scholarship weekend: "A separate selection process to award named scholarships is conducted during the summer or fall semester. These named awards replace merit awards already received, and do not provide additional funds to the recipient." Anyone have any insight? edit: I wouldn't qualify for any of the scholarships mentioned online (Forte, Consortium, etc.)

When you say 20k, is that per year? Or total? - trying to gauge what the low end scholarship award is for people attending?

I believe it's $20k total. From an email regarding the upcoming scholarship weekend: "Our scholarship awards range from $20,000 ($5,000/semester) to full tuition"

Actually that is somewhat incorrect. I know a guy from class of 2016 who got 10K total (5K each year).

Yeah - but the 10K total probably wasn't awarded after the R1 scholarship weekend, which is what the email is in reference to.

Does anyone know where we can access a Johnson Academic Calendar for next year?

I got to know that the tentative calendar will be out in another week or so. But this is for AMBA, not sure if the same applies to 2 yr MBAs as well. You may well check with the student services representatives, or you could see last year's calender which is still available on the site. Btw, did any of you manage to get student NET ID? (for logging in housing, intranet etc.) Any idea when it is sent across?
