Don't stress, it has only been a month and a bit. It took Stern almost 3 months to get back to me (r2) It was ok I think - always hard to tell though!

That's a little comforting. Kinda weird though how long it takes some schools to get back to applicants. Variability in the process I guess?

Same here, a bit disappointed. Think outcome may have been different had I applied earlier. From what I have seen with CBS and NYU, getting in early is a pretty big advantage. I applied on Jan deadlines for both

Stern is odd in their communication (or lack thereof). It will be 2 months for me next week and haven't heard a single thing.

Based on the application instructions they gave, I think it's safe to assume that if there's nothing odd in the status check website, you should be good to go on that essay.
