I'm pretty sure that scholarship is me - I got it by being named a Forte Fellow (by Georgetown), which means it is not directly from the University. So they might still be figuring out other scholarships. Just to keep a little bit more hope alive on this thread.

Likewise. I'm just really waiting on Johnson. I'm a super stretch for Kellogg. If I don't get into either, I'm headed to D.C. :-D

I'm in! Got the call at about 3 pm this afternoon (Massachusetts).

For those of you who got waitlisted: I applied round 1 and got waitlisted sans interview. I had my interview literally 6 days ago and got the call today I was admitted. So, don't lose hope! If you haven't been interviewed, they literally mean it when they say you could get an interview any time up until the decision date.

Congratulations to all the other admits, and good luck to all of you on the waitlist--hang in there! :-D

Talk to as many current students and professors as you can before your interview and then slide that in during the interview. Makes them feel that you really did your HW on them and you're interested in attending.

I think they will start sending mails about $$ in some days.
To all the waitlisted applicants, send them as much new relevant info as possible and keep in touch with your admission advisor.

This applies to all the schools (realized this after having pulled from WL to admit at UNC).

I am also in, but no info about $$ ,too.

Does anyone know how the practice here is? Or should I rather send an email to the admissions center?

Edit: vistied the welcome page and found this:

Through the Full-time MBA admissions process, your application was considered for scholarship. If you received one, the amount and terms of your scholarship award were included in your offer of admission. Scholarship awards are renewable for your second year of study as long as you maintain good academic standing. New scholarships are not awarded in year two.

so no $$$ for us =(

In this case, I suggest you write a supplemental essay detailing the following:

1. Your strong interest to attend the program
2. Steps you've taken to engage the McDonough community (talk to students, professors alumni etc.)
3. Specific programs or experiences people from no.2 have shared with you that really interest you and how McDonough fits into those goals

Make sure that what you write DOESN'T overlap with anything you wrote on the "Why Me?". They want to see something different, not a reiteration of what they already know.
