Has any R2 admit heard from LBS regarding the scholarships ?

Decisions can still go out until April, 6th but just wondering whether some e-mails had already been sent. Thanks.

No news yet. This should be the last week to hear about it.

I also haven't heard anything yet. Fingers crossed that the two days out of the office for the bank holiday means a delay in finding out.

Hello everyone,

The link on London Business School's (LBS) website to their specific MBA CV Template no longer works!

Can anyone please share with me the template if they have it OR their completed CV so I can use the same format?

Please! Thanks in advance!

Hi, Peter!

I've used the Oxford Said template on this address: https://www.sbs.ox.ac.uk/sites/default/files/Degrees/MBA/Docs/cv-template.pdf

FROM LBS Admissions Blog: The MiF Student Experience
On Wednesday I hosted a webinar on “The MiF Student Experience” with Daniel Needleman (MiF FT2016), Linda Li (MiF PT2017) and Alex Petterson (our Admissions Administrator) speaking. Hi Guys!

I´m applying in the 3rd stage...I was interviewed...same format as different people have described in this forum. I have to take a LBS English test...Does anyone have information about it? I received information only about the format...one minute to think and one and a half minutes to speak.

Thanks!

Hi All,
Does anyone know how long the VISA process takes? I'm trying to understand whether a R4 applicant that would need a VISA has enough time to get one before the start of the programme

Hi all, first of all congrats to everyone admitted to LBS. I will be applying this year to the MBA program. I am wondering how LBS approaches low undergrad GPA candidates. Otherwise, I have a good profile.

Ugrad: Mechanical engineering 2.7 from top university in my country
Grad: Finance MS 3.92 from top university
750 GMAT
1 year retail banking exp. + 2 years Goldman Sachs/Morgan Stanley/JPM analyst exp.

Would you say I have a real shot? I have done what I can to counter my low GPA: a good GMAT, stellar grad studies, passed CFA level 1.

Thanks for any feedback!

Hi. Congrats on your GMAT! Obviously your profile matches the basic criteria for a top tier MBA but in addition LBS is interested in your further career plans as well as social engagement/ volunteering/ extra curricular activities. I guess through these activities they assess how likely you are to contribute to the class and community. And it's a well known fact that what makes an MBA program is its students therefore the schools prefer extroverted and socially active students the rest can learn from.

Generally it can take up to 3 weeks. However, most countries should have an express option which would cost you more to expedite it.

I haven't applied for my student visa yet, but my wife applied for an ancestry visa a few weeks ago and they processed her application and approved her in 6 days - which is good because you have to mail your original passport for the application, and so are restricted from international travel during that time.

Hope that helps.
