Hi
shashwat8224,
Thank you for sharing your profile. Here are my thoughts based on the information you've provided.
-Academics: Your undergrad GPA is quite low, but your GMAT score defines your academic potential, so there is no reason to be concerned. You have a solid GMAT score for ISB.
-Work experience: It sounds promising. Your extensive sales experience will assist you in demonstrating your noteworthy achievements.
What I suggest: Include information about major sales goals you've met and promotions you've received(if any). ISB greatly stresses ‘impact’ and ‘leadership’. Also, take the time to elaborate on particular skills you've developed throughout your work in sales.
-Ecs: Your passion for football is admirable! And it's great to hear you're currently involved in it. Since you're applying in September, you'll have plenty of time to polish your Ecs section. You've already mentioned that you're active with several social works, which is great. Continue your good work! This will inform adcoms about your contributions to the community. Speaking about all of this with excitement will add diversity to your profile and enable adcoms to learn about various facets of your personality.
If you need any direction/guidance over any aspect of your application and have any specific concerns, you can ask us on the forum
Ask MBA & Beyond.
I would like to learn about your post-MBA goals and dig deeper into your work experience to evaluate your profile better. You will need to start early and take a couple of months just to brainstorm. We have an
extensive content gathering process where we just spend hours brainstorming to set the story’s theme and narrative.
Overall you have a good profile and stand a chance for this program but what’s going to matter most in your application is how you connect the experiential dots and create a great narrative in line with ISB principles while crafting your essays to stand out from other applicants.
If you'd like, we are happy to hop on a call with you sometime this week to discuss your profile in length and give you some more ideas to maximize your chances at ISB. Feel free to
book a free session with us as per your convenience.
Let’s maximize your chances in Round 1 for fall intake Cheers!
