I submitted my app R2 but my recommendation came in after the deadline. I contacted admissions and they said I would still be considered round 2 but they were not bound to notify me of an interview by Jan 10. So, my app still shows under review.

Thanks Narenn. Gmatclub forum has been a point of stellar support through this harrowing application experience.

Application still shows as submitted for Johnson. Their rolling interview decisions makes it hard to guess application acceptance.

The application portal says "schedule interview" for me although I have not received an email to confirm. I feel good that it means I will receive an invite to interview but I can't be sure until I see the official email. Let's hope it's not a system error or something!

I applied through the consortium round 2 on January 4th and on January 13th I received an email from the admissions team stating they received my application and provided instructions for checking my application portal, etc. I believe I first noticed the "Schedule Interview" on my application page around 3 days ago (on January 16th). Hope that helps.

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but everyone in the Consortium receives an invite because Johnson has a Super Day. Regular applicants shouldn't view those invites as indicative of anything.

My status changed from under review to schedule interview.
But no email from Cornell or link in the portal - could be an error? Anyone else in the same boat?

International Applicant here. Just had an on-campus interview for Nov round yesterday (applied a day before the deadline and received invite in early Jan). The interview was on the same day as the coffee chat (which two second year students took us around the campus and explain things - they were great to entertain us and give insights on how Johnson students live), the Sage Social (which the entire campus gathered and enjoyed free booze and food), and I got dragged to the Johnson on Tap (beer club - which was great fun.) So definitely check the social events before scheduling your interview and I would recommend doing your interview on a Thursday and join the Sage Social.

The interview I had was with an Adcom. She notified me that it would be 30 minutes long and it was. She also told me that she was not the reader of my application and had only seen my resume, but she did have some questions from the reader of my app. The interview was relaxed and the interviewer did a great job to make you feel at ease.

There were list of general questions and the conversation took from there.

- How will you contribute
