Hey Hi,
If you can devote all your time till you exam date in December I would suggest go for Egmat as you would need sufficient time to complete the course.
It will really help in improving the you verbal score

I have been preparing for GMAT since 3 months and had gave 3 mocks test. My score were 1st test (Q30 V15), 2nd (Q41 V20) and 3rd (Q 38 V 10). My verbal score has been low since my first mocktest. I had done my studies from Manhattan books and also joined GMAT classes, but my score has not increased in verbal section. I am to give my GMAT Exam on 26th December can any please suggest me any study plan or books to increase my score. I am looking for around 600+ score. Please give suggestions.

Hi
U have to really spend some time with the basics along with the concept questions.......

I think powerscore CR is the best book for getting the CR part right on track..will take almost 3 days to complete the book if u invest time accordingly.

Manhattan SC is the book for getting concepts clarity.

Then if u have bought OG books, launch the book online, go to the question builder and practice questions from them with timings.

All the very best.....

Can you name any good books for RC?

Hi
For RC i dont think u need to be a vivid reader or something like that.....For basics u can refer to manhattan....

RC specially needs ur attention while attending the question and ur abiity to retain the crux of the paragraph throughout to ans the ques without wasting much time....

The strategy for cracking RC is the diff for diff people...
some would like to write down crux of the passage while reading. Some others dont do that because they end up wasting a lot of time in making notes..

OG for verbal and OG combined will give u enough RC passages to practice...

take a paragraph...set timer according to long/short passage.Almost 10 min for a long passage with 5 to 6 questions and 8 min for a short passage with 4 ques.
u can also try daily two RC questions....RC butler by workout in RC forum ..its extemely useful. Because in RC practice is the only key.

Try to read the paragraph with full concentration especially the starting and ending of paragraphs....again time urself..extremely important.

Hope this helps..
