by the way, I don't think that you, need a retake, but, if you think that you can easily do better, then just go for it and hit the 800.

Thank you very much for the replies so far.

Does anyone else have additional thoughts or perhaps examples of students with similar profiles who were successful in applying to the schools I listed (Northwestern, Harvard, Wharton, MIT)? Also, can anyone comment on possible scholarship opportunities with a profile like mine?

A 750 is awesome! I agree with much of what has been said; I don’t think you need to retake the GMAT. Thank you for sharing your story.

Most people are saying you should not re-take the test. On the contrary, I think you should. Considering your prep time used to achieve such a high score it shows you have the aptitude to achieve a higher score. Getting admitted with a full ride (like you mentioned) is not an easy feat. I'd advise you shoot for 780 the next time, improve your odds and make yourself an irrefutable candidate. Godspeed!
