I understand from the Admissions Office that the ADmit weekend will be from 18-20 Apr. I applied in R2, and am still waiting for news. I do wish that the Admissions Office would release interview invitations and admit decisions earlier, because this is making it v hard for international folks to plan for flight tickets!

Well, the yield is roughly 80%. Assuming 5 in 10 people who interview get accepted, it seems like 3 are waitlisted and 2 are rejected. On the basis of 80% yield, it looks like 1 in 5 accepted slots will be open. 3 waitlisted slots competing for that one slot. Does that make sense or is this simplistic thinking?
