Is anyone thinking about or has already written to the Admissions team to ask why we haven't received any communication? With only 10 days to go, the anxiety levels are SUPER HIGH!

Imagining they are overwhelmed right now. I haven’t received communication regarding the interview either, but not worried about it since it seems many of us are in the same boat.

I had my interview on 5/15 with AdCom and I was specifically told that the decisions will be communicated on the 29th or closer to that date. But I was also told that if I needed to know my decision earlier, I could send an email and they would work something out. I'm just choosing to wait it out

Hope this helps!

Probably best to wait it out. When I applied to Fuqua, my interviewer told me I would have a decision in 2-3 weeks. It took right at 4 weeks. Right now they are all working from home and coordinating the best they can. It only makes sense they are slower to get decisions out.

I know no one knows for sure, I applied with the GMAT waiver and got the interview waiver. Based on what I've seen in these comments, at this point, it's safe to assume on 5/29 I won't be accepted?

I am in the same boat. Received a GMAT waiver, but have not been notified for an interview yet. At this point I almost feel like I should not be accepted anyways because the GMAT is such a big part and I would feel like I am cheating the system. Could just be me though!

We are in uncharted territory. Its anybody's guess how Kellogg is applying their review standards across the applicant pool. For all you know, your application is so good that they feel an interview is unnecessary.

Man, I hope so. The anticipation is just brutal at this point.

For what it's worth I submitted my application with the GMAT waiver on 5/4 and had my interview on 5/13.

Thanks for sharing, it’s helpful to know. Pretty awesome that you got your interview fairly quickly. Was your file complete when you applied (i.e. all letters of rec submitted)? I imagine that is also a factor in how quickly one gets invited to interview.

My file was complete when I turned it in, two letters of recommendation, official transcripts, etc. Interview was almost an hour long, and went over my resume, my work history, how I manage and team participation, undergrad stuff, and finished up with by asking the interviewer about clubs and extras at Kellogg. Interviewer was from the current Adcom.

I found this article interesting. NU's president talks about fall admissions. While it is not specific to Kellogg or MBAs, the fact that they were able to admit 100 fewer applicants implies that they may be even more selective in MBA applications this time around.

Kellogg will forever be selective. Covid-19 or not.

In my opinion, GMAT Waiver/Interview Waiver means that other aspects of your application should be almost flawless. After all, that is why we are applying to one of the best schools in the country right?!

Completely agree. While the idea of the GMAT/interview waiver is pretty cool idea, for me, the gmat and interview were probably stronger aspects of my application.

As much as I really want to get into a top school, this is how I feel oddly. I submitted my application on 05/04, interviewed 05/18. I don't think I'll be too disappointed if I get a rejection on the 29th, because I know my chances are slim, and I am continuing to study for the GMAT, applying at other schools.

Looking at the decision tracker, there have been people who were denied without interview in the past few days, so I think there is hope for those who got an interview waiver. Wish you all luck next week!

If you’re looking at full time, I really don’t think you can go by that. No one has really heard anything that’s applied for summer quarter part time during the extended deadline.
