Wow, thanks for sharing! The new, "enhanced" GMAT online with select section order, instant scoring and AWA (proctored by Examity) was supposed to debut on 4/8/21, and I'm sure that many students had already planned to take the new exam shortly after it became available.
Now, after reneging on that date, GMAC isn't even promising us another update until 4/20, which—based on experience—probably means that the new online exam itself won't be ready until even later, maybe weeks or even months later. This is going to mess with a lot of people's plans...and no, automatically migrating their previously scheduled exams to the "current version of the GMAT online" (no select section order, no instant scoring, no AWA) at a similar date and time isn't going to satisfy test-takers who had already registered and were hoping to try the enhanced version of the GMAT online.
So what's the business lesson we can learn from GMAC's blunder? When it comes to new products, don't promise your customers a release date to which you can't stick. In other words, it's better to underpromise, and over-deliver, than vice-versa.
Problem is, GMAC will probably get away with letting us down yet again; it helps to be a virtual monopoly.
UPDATE: I am hearing from students who are registered for the new GMAT online as late as 5/10 that they have also received this email, which suggests that the enhanced GMAT online might not be ready until mid-May 2021 or later.

So GMAC is going to give US $25 because THEY are rescheduling our exams, right? What a joke. They should offer to let people cancel for full refund so we can just do test center and be done with it.

Is that what they are doing? I missed the $25 reference along the way.
P.S. I agree. I am sure you can probably reschedule it if you call and cancel and but that will cost you hours of your life... not sure it is worth the hassle. Sorry!
