I am not sure if a group already exists with the R1 admits. I also saw somewhere that there is an official discussion forum on the MSPM countdown portal.

Got an invite to interview for R3 admissions. I am going through the forum for general interview format. They are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday. Thursday slots filled up quickly.

R3 applicant here - just scheduled mine for next week

From what I’ve seen so far on this thread the interview format has straightforward questions: why CMU, why mspm, walk me through your resume / tell me about yourself, what curriculum did you like, what’s your plan after graduation

Curious if there will be a mix of behavioral in there as well: tell me about a time where ___ (the mba program questions seem a lot more intense)

I also think all R3 applicants should be prepared for the “why did you wait until R3 to apply?”

Any insights on how else to prepare would be sincerely appreciated - thanks and good luck to everyone!

Guys any idea how many got interview calls for R3? Also, from R1/R2 do they abide by the decision deadline or it can extend by a couple of days to accommodate all the interviews? Just trying to gauge my chance since its 28th and i don't have an interview call

Hi,

My tepper's interview just got over. It was scheduled for 30 minutes, however when the meeting was over I found that interview went on only for 20 minutes. I felt I answered the questions well and took my time. Does this thing that interview went on for only 20 minutes mean I was bad?

If anybody could share their interview experience, it would be great!

Don't worry, mine was 20 minutes too, but the interviewer told me I would get the offer at the end of the conversation.
