Hi guys,
I applied to multiple schools in R1, got multiple admits, and am now looking for some advice on which one of these should I go ahead with. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks !
I currently have admits from the following schools.
McCombs with $ (30K)
Tepper with $ (50K)
Marshall with $ (50K)
Kenan-Flagler with $ (66K)
Foster with $ (In-state tuition + 40K)
Nationality : India
Indian IT Male, GPA 8.99/10 (Non-IIT, top 10% of the graduating class).
GMAT : 740
Current Role : (6 years at a (Fortune 20) in a role that is a mix of R&D and PM, more of R&D than PM).
Post MBA Goals : Technology (PM / TPM Role at FAANG)
I'm currently inclined towards Tepper/Foster (Brand vs Location), found the community to be a good fit at both of these, but Foster offered more $$.
I'm also planning to apply to other schools in R2 (would definitely go ahead and choose any of these over the $)
Currently networking with students and alums from Ross & Anderson (applying)
Also looking at Stern, Sloan and Haas (align very well with my goals, but would these be too much of a stretch with my GMAT score considering the pool). Could someone please share if I could add any more schools to the list ?

Congratulations! These are some solid choices.
First, what are your net costs (after scholarship, room and board, etc.) for each school?
Second, with your solid undergraduate record and career achievements, don't be too quick to assume those schools are a stretch. The multiple scholarship offers emphasize this point.

All the programs are very good. Saying that my vote goes to Tepper ( I might be a little bit biased
, but Tepper is definitely a huge name in Tech). Saying that I second Regenerate , you have a nice profile and should apply for the top programs.

Congrats on your admits!
I agree in terms of your choices. Foster, Tepper and McComb‘s would be the most likely candidates. Austin has a lot of tech concentrated there. It used to be a second tier with limited limited options but that’s no longer the case. Obviously foster has been doing well with tech recruiting which is hard to do poorly when you are in Microsoft and Amazon‘s backyard. Tepper actually asked to work for it’s money and it also has solid tech recruiting numbers as mentioned by u1983.
Nice thing about McComb’s and Foster is that you don’t have to move when you graduate. Not a huge deal but you’re staying local with your Alma matter what provides a good connection. That helps build up the alum community.
PS. Having a good strong brand name on your resume will be super helpful during recruiting. It will help you stand out among your classmates.
As to R2, I think you’ve had pretty good success in round one so why not aim higher. Keep in mind, scholarships become more scarce as you climb the rankings ladder. Financing can be a challenge and most likely, You will have to put a deposit for one of your round one schools before you hear from your round two applications. Just keep that in mind.
