I took Arijit Biswas sir's help when i was thinking of applying to ISB in 2019 for the class of 2021. Although we had prepared our essays, i didn't apply since i got a great opportunity to work at a new organization. So i postponed the plan of applying for MBA. I have been in touch with him since then. Not just MBA prep, i used to take his advice on technology consulting and other aspects of professional life in general. He was kind enough to always be there. In 2021, i decided to apply for the first time in any B school and decided to go just for IIM A. With an average gmat score, i knew i had to prepare good essays and interview. Therefore i took his help again and his professional guidance helped me secure admission to IIM A. Forever thankful and strongly recommend him as a mentor for people who are trying to get into competitive B Schools. I am adding the email id so people who need guidance can contact him.

For those who had last-minute/month rush - what is the shortest time we would need to initiate & submit the application? (Aiming for R3 and can take GMAT not before 15-Nov.)

Without thinking about the odds, just go for it. You need one seat. Round 3 will definitely have a minimum of one seat.

You will be asked to finish and submit essays within a 5 day period and then will be called for a virtual interview with IIMA professors at a video conferencing center in the city of your choice (from their list obviously). IIMA does not need any LOR submissions.

Hi, how are shortlisted candidates get intimated whether they’ve been selected for the next round? Do they publish the list on their website or do we receive mails confirming the same?

Also do they send some sort of communication to candidates who’ve not been selected?

They publish it on their portal. Once it is updated you will get an email. If you are selected you’ll see option to select interview location and essays Otherwise they will mention you are not selected.
