Best of luck everyone. I have not received an interview invite, however I am hopeful I get waitlisted. Reading this forum, since Jan 2022, has given me great comfort. Thank you to all contributors
HBS is 50% - 55%. Normally it is about 50%-70%. Yale is on the high end. Kellogg is different, they interview about 90% of all applicants. Best of Luck!
How was everyone’s interview experience? My interviewer was probably the worst interviewer, job or otherwise that I have ever been in front of. Absolutely no enthusiasm, monotone, and I tried to converse casually throughout but he wasn’t having any of it. He rushed the interview and then at the end said “wow that was fast, any other questions” which I did have. I think you could slowly see my smile drain throughout the interview lol.
Exactly, compounded with the fact that my interviewer looked bored out of his mind, it completely killed my enthusiasm. I understand the fact that you need to get through the questions in a timely manner but is throwing in one or two sentences to ease the transition and to create a more comfortable and conversational tone going to really slow you down that much?
Yeah I had that experience with CBS. Thought my interview went well and I’m even going to connect with my interviewer via LinkedIn after this admissions cycle is over because he seemed like an awesome guy and a great resource to discuss my career with, but still got dinged.
