The weight of moisture is 82% of 1 ton or 1000kg, that is 82*1000/100=820kg.
Weight of the remaining portion =1000-720=180. Now this remains constant in weight even after moisture reduces, but now becomes 100-70 or 30% overall.
So 180=30% of new weight. Thus new weight = 180*100/30=600

Asked: What is the current weight of the fruit in kg?
Before evaporation: -
Weight = 1000 kg
Moisture = 820 kg
Other = 180 kg
After evaporation: -
Other = 180 kg
Weight = 180/30% = 18000/30 = 600 kg
