Trust me, it is enogh. But don’t get "pretentious". I know people from last year who got a reject at a 770 and 780 score
Trust me, I am not being pretentious. I will have 15 years of work ex by the time I join ISB(If I get to join) and that will be way above average work ex at ISB. So I know I am not the typical candidate and might not have spectacular credentials, and I have been rejected by IIM B without interview and IIM C after interview (great interview), so I assure you that I am anything but pretentious when I say 760 might also not be enough!

See, the best way to look at it is just look at the average and median score and add/subtract 10 points for your diversity. Like ISB’s average/median is 710. If you are an engineer, add 10 points so you need 720. If you are a female, subtract 10 points and you need 700 and so on
If only everything can be quantified just like that!

I feel people become a bit too chill with their gmat scores and not pay attention on their essays. But i really do not know that reason cause one guy who got 760 last year got rejected from ISB but got into INSEAD
If you think someone prepared 3-4 months for a "good" GMAT score and became chill(whatever that means) when it came to essay and just winged it, then you really need to stop generalizing everyone based one the famous "i know a guy" syndrome
