Ranforce7, I disagree. At least with a waitlist, you know you’re applying to the right tier of schools. And outright rejection means you probably shouldn’t have applied, and that feeling sucks

everyone who was not invited for an interview got the same waitlist email, so it really doesnt hold anything yet. you will only know if you are on the official waitlist today.
