Hey I’m a current student (class of 2024). I’m not involved in admissions, but I know a lot of people in my class who were accepted from waitlist: some with big scholarships. There’s also people who were rejected and applied the next year. I have no idea on the stats for getting in from the waitlist, but it is not rare.

I know one guy who got into Fuqua from the waitlist in July.

Hi, everyone! Forgot to post my decision here

Accepted from a the waitlist with a US$ 20K scholarship
I was waitlisted in the Early Action Round

Profile:
Location: India
GMAT: 710 (Q50, V36); EA: 161
Educational Background: CA, CS, B.Com (H)
Work Ex: ~80 months at the time of matriculation; Sr. Manager at a medium sized pipe manufacturing company
Sent in relevant updates such as:
1) Updated test scores, 2) updated resume, 3) MBA Math, 4) Additional LOR, 5) Professional updates, 6) Volunteering-related updates, 7) maintained interactions with AdCom and continued to demonstrate interest in the program
