Hey, I too had my interview in Bangalore over the weekend. Just adding my experience below, incase it helps others.
For me the interview experience was very different. It was taken by 2019 batch students (2 of them). First, the interviews were running a bit late, my slot came 45 mins late (please expect this on the day, since they have a lot of panels and a lot of interviews)
My interviewer only came to call me from the waiting room (I did not know he was my interviewer) so I started chatting on the way only as he was guiding me to the room. Later he only came and sat and started the interview.
Overall my interview was 20-25 minutes (Idk what is the average length, so can’t judge) - they did not ask me anything about my goals, why mba and introduce yourself. They directly started asking me questions about: my role, my current company, my motivations to stay here, where do I think I’m lacking here, what is a challenge I forsee in ISB. My failure story they went in depth in. Second they ask me to go over my success story and explain why I consider it was a big thing.
PS - They kept a straight face throughout the conversation. So it’s difficult for me to exactly judge how it went, but maybe they were also doing that to see me react (i’m assuming)
