Please count only the full time work experience after completing graduation till 8th April 2024.
You might want to check if this comes up as a gap within the graduation duration ( if applicable) then, give an explanation in the relevant section - there you can say that you were working.

I have a work experience-related question. I worked full-time for 2.5 months during the break between my second & third years. Can I count this as official work experience in regard to the requirement of 24 months of compulsory experience?

Not an official break between the graduation, this was during the 2 month summer break we get after completing our second year. Since my college was online due to COVID, I worked full-time alongside it.

Last year, the interview invites were sent after 25-30 days from the submission deadline.

I’m based out of India and my current manager is based in the UK. We’ve always communicated through official channels and never used phone numbers. I asked him for it and he declined. He simply isn’t willing to share it. And I obviously need to provide it while filling current employment details. Can anyone advise?

You can enter the phone number of the UK office where your manager is working in.

Hi everyone, can someone please review my profile. I have written few points on Why Me. I won’t necessarily put everything. But also, want expert opinion on what points seem impressive. I would really appreciate any help here. Thanks in advance Acads: Undergraduate: 9.37 CGPA, 12th - 93.4%, 10th - 10 CGPA, B.Tech from VIT Vellore (Rank ~13 in top colleges India) Why me? - Being the second engineer of the Travel team at CRED, I got an opportunity to work on Hotel Booking Business from 0-1, we spent more than a year, building product from scratch and I worked closely with the product building my product knowledge - My PM: “Paritosh showcases exceptional solutioning skills, considering not only technical aspects but also customer experience, operational efficiency, and industry context. He has a unique ability to make well-informed trade-off decisions, which allows him to balance competing priorities and deliver optimal outcomes. This holistic approach to problem-solving makes him an invaluable asset to our team” - "Google vs CRED" - It was one of the hardest decisions for me. After two years of working at Cisco Appdynamics, one of the top 10 technological companies in the world, I knew I wanted to create a larger impact and wanted to go somewhere where my contribution is much larger. Hence, despite having my dream to work at Google in front of me, I chose to work at CRED. - I bring experience working at India’s one of the best startups, where I built a travel section in CRED app from scratch which is used by 4M people so far, with 50k users using it daily. - On the day of launch, seeing 198k users use the app that I gave my 1 year in making, I felt proud and it was one of the best moments in my life. - I bring learnings from product, technology, customer research etc - I have always worked on building a holistic personality and have so diverse experiences. I tend to leave impact wherever I go - At AppDynamics, my team was the winner of the global hackathon where we built a chat bot that helped bring teams together at a time when people were working remotely due to Covid. - I was selected as a Team4Tech and TeachUnited volunteer (a global 10 person team), where I worked to solve some of Tanzania’s root level education system problem. In the process, we were given leadership training that helped me learn so much. I got to interact with teachers from Tanzania, and students to understand their problems, and develop solutions for them. This taught me leadership, problem solving, design thinking and communication - In college, I was in the core committee of Dramatics club. Along with being an actor, which gave me confidence in expressing myself, I was the event manager for Khalbali fest at Riviera’ where 13 colleges participated. - In college I was in the Google Developers Group where I was the event organiser and coordinator for multiple fests which included 400+ participants. I shifted the focus of the club to hackathons, and created a culture where students were inspired and participated more in hackathons and we organized more as well. - I have always loved hackathons, and have won various awards and prizes at multiple levels by building products that helped solve major problems. I have won an award at IIT Madras, won gold medal for KPIT Sparkle, 2nd prize at Honeywell hackathon to name a few. - Being an NCC cadet at school, taught me the value of discipline early on. I have also been consistent with fitness activities for more than 8 years. Have represented my school in state level tournaments for both Table Tennis and Volleyball. I go to the gym regularly and also do long distance running. - I am curious person and loves to learn, to understand about product better, I joined Stoa, which is an alt MBA program and teaches about business fundamentals - I am a part of Toastmasters international (Gurgaon) too. I really appreciate if you have read so far. I feel that I have a lot of things on my profile but I feel I lack the depth or extreme level achievements, for ex. state level champion of xyz etc. This also makes me feel a bit less confident. I wanted some thoughts on how good is my profile and what should I focus more on.
Hi everyone, I gave my GMAT exam today and got 680. Although I have a fairly good academic and career history. I am not sure if I should apply in R1 or not. Based on my profile, can someone please suggest if I should try in R1 or reattempt and apply for R2 ?

Here are a few pointers about my profile

Academics: Undergraduate: 9.37 CGPA, 12th - 93.4%, 10th - 10 CGPA, B.Tech from VIT University Vellore (Rank ~13 in top colleges India)
GMAT score: 680 (Q49, V34)
Work experience: Current - Software Engineer at CRED ( 1.5 years), Software Engineer at Cisco Appdynamics (1.5 years). Have earned promotion in both the companies and in CRED, I worked as the second engineer for launching CRED Travel Escapes from 0 - 1.

Few points I am mentioning in essays:

1. Second engineer in the Travel team of CRED, built travel hotel booking product from scratch which has been used by 4M people in the last 4 months. In that I collaborated extensively with teams including a couple of third party vendors, and was the primary poc for integrating their platforms with ours.

2. During my time at Cisco, I won the annual global hackathon where me and my team built a solution for remote working issues. I was also selected as a volunteer for an NGO at Tanzania (remote), where me and my team worked for 4 months to solve local education problems in Tanzania using technology.

3. Hackathons have played a pivotal role in my life. In college, I won multiple hackathons at college / national level and that boosted in me problem solving skills and design thinking. I was also a part of Google Developers Group and VIT Dramatics club where I was the organiser for various events handling as many as 400 participants.

4. I have always focused on holistic learning which has helped evolve me into an all round personality - I have been an actor, a public speaker (at Toastmasters), sports player (have represented school in TT and Volleyball), and also an NCC cadet at school.

5. "Google vs CRED" - It was one of the hardest decisions for me. After two years of working at Cisco Appdynamics, one of the top 10 technological companies in the world, I knew I wanted to create a larger impact and wanted to go somewhere where my contribution is much larger. Hence, despite having my dream to work at Google in front of me, I chose to work at CRED.

6. Stoa - I have always been curious to learn about business and while working at CRED, I wished to contribute more to the product and also understand the business better. Hence, I enrolled in Stoa and have learnt about various business facets.

Can someone please suggest if my profile has any chance for ISB R1 or not?

Would suggest that you reappear in GMAT, to see if you can get a 700+ and apply in R2 paritoshmahajan.

This is such incomplete informatiOn Abhishekanushi. You do not tell us about your graduation discipline, your nature of work, your goals...nothing.

Anyway, based upon the information you've provided, 700+ in R2 will be a better option.

A break is of course never a strong point in the application Vikfg432.

Having said that, in my experience, ISB is quite permissive and lenient in this regard. In other words, a gap is generally not a show-stopper.

There is a space in the application, wherein you can explain the reason for the gap.

10th - 93, sports at the state level
12 - 87
Degree - 7 Production Engineering, Govt. College

During college-
Had to re-take one exam.
Was the secretary of a club & participated, as a team, in an International competition representing college + India, came 5th internationally, 1st among Asian teams.
6 month internship at Godrej in the project management cell & handled multiple projects.

Joined a Big4 consultancy right after college. First joined in their Analytics space and took solo projects on the concept of fast fail- trying & testing strategies/ideas in their nascent stage. Worked alongside the customer’s leadership. Have dealt with international clients.
Moved to Supply Chain space over a year ago (which aligns more to my long term goals). Have been working on unique assets which deals with the entre value chain- have led the Analytics front, support towards functional and GTMs.

Need an MBA because I feel the gaps in my understanding of sectors(mostly finance, Human capital, Marketing) and influencing factors in supply chain and product life cycles, would appreciate time off for focused learning with peers from these sectors. Also want to start blending the concepts of ESG with Supply chain.

Post MBA- Back to consulting, consulting only. ESG space preferred.

Is it too mundane if I am in consulting & want to go back to consulting?

Would appreciate I get one of those reviews as well, thanks :)
How can any review be given, within absolutely any reference to your GRE/GMAT score kanishkakarpe?
