Hi
Can someone who got through in Round 1 share their experience regarding the presentation part of the interview ?
Hi khannadwija311 ! For the presentation, candidates are often required to deliver a 10min presentation on a specific topic, you get 5 mins to prepare, 10 mins to verbally present it, it's not exactly a presentation but you have to justify your problem statement. Be responsive to any cues or questions from the interviewer during/ post your presentation.
While the exact questions can vary, they generally focus on assessing the candidate’s analytical thinking, ability to engage with business concepts, and communication skills. Common themes include explaining trends in the candidate’s industry, discussing business strategies, and reflecting on personal leadership experiences. Some potential questions could cover cultural insights, team dynamics, and personal motivations for pursuing an MBA. Preparing for a variety of questions and practicing your presentation skills can help you perform confidently and showcase your ability to think critically and communicate effectively during the interview. It shall be a good & easy part of the interview.

Please feel free to take a look at this BLOG.

Good luck!

Should I apply in R3 LBS with GMAT focus score of 615?

Hi sammmmm56 ! Round 3 reserves space for exceptional applicants, the competition is intense, and the number of available spots is limited. A GMAT score of 615 falls below the average range, which could be a disadvantage (majorly for R3) unless offset by outstanding professional achievements, unique experiences, or other compelling aspects of your application. If LBS is your top choice, you might consider retaking the GMAT to achieve a more competitive score(700+, higher the better) and applying in an earlier round next year. Alternatively, if you choose to proceed in Round 3 with your current score, ensure that the rest of your application strongly highlights your unique strengths and experiences to enhance your candidacy. If you'd like, please feel free to book a profile evaluation call, so that we can discuss your overall profile in detail. Good luck!

I had a word with Adcom, but mine responded yesterday. He says let us know in case you dont hear back by Monday or the interviewer needs additional time to provide feedback

If there's still no response from your interviewer, contact the LBS admissions team directly to inform them of the situation. They can assist you the best or will assign a new interviewer (depending on the situation). Proactive communication with the admissions team is important and helps prevent potential delays. Good luck guys!
