Just to add on- Interview went on for 1 hr 10 mins...
nobisdolorem
My interview (R2) was extremely informal. the panelist talked in hindi, cross questioned every single thing, gave his feedbacks constantly and it was more like a career counselling where he was forcing me to in fact not join ISB and continue with my business.
Did anyone had a similar experience? 😅

Agree that it’s common, tho it’s not necessarily whether they’re convinced or not - they might be convinced but want to see if you’re convinced and can logically hold your ground.

There have been some such experiences and I personally believe that those interviewers who follow such an informal process make it very hard for any candidate to read the interviewers level of satisfaction with response. I hope you did well.

Just a word of advise: Don’t be very informal in such interviews, even if the interviewers are informal. Developing comfort and being clear and respectful is utmost important.

I Followed all of this and answered most of the ques, have gmat 715 & tier-1 UG... still he counselled me for 10 mins at the end (said I should never join ISB since I've a much better career option otherwise) and as a closing note said- you should get clarity on your future goals.. 😔

Is it advisable to respond in Hindi if the interviewer is conversing in Hindi? Or one should ideally stick to English?

Curious if this is some sort of test as well.
It’s alright to respond in language that interviewer speaks.

However it’s advisable to drive interview back to English language if you are good with it.

Is the 1 page resume pdf used for work quality evaluation scoring by adcom, or is it only for assisting interviewers?

Have all Mumbai R3 invites rolled out? Can we expect more to roll out soon? I heard someone say R3 Mumbai interviews are happening this weekend.

Are R2 virtual interviews scheduled for the coming weekend (21-22 Feb)?

Has anybody received calls or any applicant with SIP but no call yet?
