yes ...sure...2018 passout from marine engg and research inst kolkata.. acads are 88/88/83, university gold medalist ..work ex: 6 months as assistant engineer in Tokyo (NYK Lines), 2.5 years in a leading Gvt bank as Officer, and currently ASO in Min of Def (2.5 years) cumulative exp 5.5 years.

There is no cutoff as such. Shortlist will be done based on your score and application together and not just score.

Congratulations to everyone who received admits!

I’m preparing for the Class of 2028. It would be great if someone could do a quick evaluation of my profile and suggest a safe GMAT score range for me to target.
Basic Profile:
10th : 8/10 CGPA
12th: 84.80%
Graduation: 64.84% - B.Com (Delhi University) - General
NMIMS - MBA (Distance) : 65%
Work Experience: Credit Risk around 9 years (incl. some of family business)

1. Academics are average, so GMAT becomes critical Target GMAT: 675+ for India programs
2. 9 years in Credit Risk is a strong plus. You need to clearly show leadership and career progression
3. Strong “Why MBA, why now” is very important at this experience level
4. Be prepared for why second MBA and also reason for an online MBA.

Will complete 4 years 8 months of work experience by March 2027

Worked in private equity support for 1.5 years
Working as an Investment Analyst at a boutique investment firm covering US & Indian equities and supporting portfolio management for UHNI clients for the last 2 years


Have also mentored underprivileged school students of Uttarakhand to help them set career goals

Should I improve my GMAT, or is this score okay to get an interview call at IIMA? What else can I do to improve my chances of conversion?
