Do you mean getting final decisions? If it follows the same pattern as the EA round, people from South America received calls the day before the deadline and they were apparently the first ones.

So, depending on geographics, you might hear from them one day before the deadline as well.

Let's see how November round goes. Decision deadline is on February 7th and I really hope to be one of the south americans they call one day earlier, February 6th!

I applied in the Jan Round. I live in Boston about 2 hours away from Tuck. I had a hypothetical question, in case I am admitted.

Can any current student comment on whether I will be missing out on a lot if I plan to commute to Tuck on a weekly basis - come in time for Monday AM classes and leave on Thu night? I know there are no classes on Fridays but is there anything else going on over the weekend? I am wondering how much team homework happens over the weekend and if that can be done over the phone/online? If I have this option that would mean the least disruption from family point of view - no need of selling home, kid can continue going to same school etc.

I definitely think it would detract from the experience. Not 100% sure but I think fridays are used up for recruiting a lot of the time. Also I imagine a fair amount of group work will be done on Friday or over the weekend especially during the intense Fall A term. Thinking out loud, I do also wonder whether the situation will create a divide and potential resentment from your study group if they know they have to accomodate via skype/phone during friday and weekends. It's a tough call because obviously there would be upheaval for your family if you did have to move. Maybe try reaching out to the Tuck Partners and see if anyone else had children a similar age and how it worked out with schools etc?
