Cornell is a great school so is UNC. Just don't know if there are realistically any opportunities for your significant other in Ithaca. KF will have great opportunities in your industry and also better quality of life for your situation.

I cast my vote for UNC here. For healthcare UNC is definitely the stronger program. Regarding consulting opportunities I think it is more or less equal between these two schools. I am sure your significant other will probably be happier at UNC as well given the greater career and other opportunities in the area.

That being said -- I think a strong case could be made for Cornell if for some reason you both would prefer living in the Northeast post-MBA. Seeing from your currently living in CA though, I have a sneaking suspicion you might prefer a more moderate climate.
