Ross at T10? Isn’t this a bit inflated now?

Maybe.... It depends which year you compare it to. Last year Ross was #13 though it was a funky year with rankings (the year before that as well with schools playing GMAT games)

Here are the last 15 or so years from 2008. Note that 2022 rank of #13 is missing.
However, it was ranked #7 in 2019, #10 in 2020 and #11 a number of years in a row. I feel Ross has been doing things well lately.

I guess depends on how far back you look at

A few notable shifts:

HBS over the last 3 years - #6, #5, #5. Wow.
Yale cracks Top 7 for the first time ever.
Tuck continues to trend downwards. The 5 Year Avg is now #11 - an all time low.
Haas steadily held the #7 spot every year from 2008 to 2022, except for 2020, when it stole #6. This year it slipped to #8.
Ross now has a 5 Year Avg of #10 - an all time high.

Woah. Columbia at 8 seems low. Seems like that is just a touch below H/S/W, with Booth maybe having a slight edge. Maybe it’ll be easier to get in than I expected…

Need to ask for the background ranking document. We have not received this year because our contact seems to have left US news…. Could it be because of the heavy international wait at Columbia or is this likely the impact of the New York City and employers hiring people remotely? Temporary loss of the Columbus hometurf advantage?

Hi Everyone, I've updated the Master MBA Rankings thread with US News 2023 rankings. And here's a quick overview of major highlights...

Top Gainers and Losers

Schools that showed remarkable / miserable performance on the ranking ladder this year.

Schools Significantly Above or Below their Average Ranks

Staying consistently above or below your average performance indicates your inner strength or weakness and those from the finance world very well understand the significance of this metric. The schools listed below have been consistently performing better / worst for the last 5 years and it is an important metric to consider if these schools are on your application list.
