How to improve in SC and RC only(V30 to v42+)?

Question

I am consistently scoring 650(Q49 V30)-680(Q49 V32) from day 1 of my preparation, Most of my wrong answers from SC(Around 10 questions incorrect), RC(4-6 questions incorrect), CR(0-2 questions incorrect). I am a non native English speaker, and I'd like to focus on SC, as timing is the bigger problem in RC it'd be fixed once I start doing SC correctly. Would my score go to 730+ if I fix my SC and RC? What would be the best course/books to focus only on SC from scratch. Any suggestions would be of great help, I tried e-gmat, it didn't help, moreover it reduced my score.

With Q49, you need V39/40 to score 730 on GMAT. So, you need to be good in all the three modules. Now coming to your questions of improving in SC, there are a couple of things you should keep in mind while solving. Let me help you here.

How to solve SC questions? 
SC questions on GMAT test your ability to convey the meaning without any ambiguity. So, you have to approach them from a meaning stand-point. You might have often come across answer choices which are both grammatically correct and convey a logical meaning but are indeed incorrect because they do not convey the intended meaning. So, it's important that you identify the right meaning that the original sentence is trying to convey, identify the errors if any and then eliminate answer choices which either are grammatically incorrect or do not convey the intended meaning.

How to approach RC questions? 
Coming to RC, besides the comprehension skills required for SC, you need to master analytical skills and the ability to focus. You need to read the passage in an inferential manner and draw the right inferences. You have to be able to map the passage, understand the flow of the idea and derive the author's point. If you can do all these steps properly, then you can score well on RC passages.

Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:

1) How long have you studied in total? How many hours do you typically study each week?
2) What study materials have you used so far?
3) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
4) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
