Hey, why not be ambitious? Now is your chance to go for it, so let your dreams and passion come through in your application!

In regards to your goal, operations consulting is certainly achievable. I'd consider applying this year in R1 if you have time to dedicate to it right away. A few top schools with great operations concentrations include Tepper (CMU), Krannert (Purdue), and McCombs (Texas). To assess your candidacy, you have a great academic profile, so you're golden there. Your work experience is decent, but what about the leadership you've exhibited in your work? Do you have a promotion under your belt? Do you formally manage people? Have you led any projects or initiatives? Moving on to your involvement, I would consider to your activities here to be on the low end of the spectrum. What activities did you lead? What do you mean by "organized many events"? Being an active participant isn't that helpful either. These are points you should consider focusing on as you build your application. Take time to reflect on these and build a narrative around your experiences. If you're looking for additional help in putting your application together feel free to give us a shout. Best of luck with your application!
