510 GMAT score is too less and with this score, I do not think you can land up in a good school. You may have plenty of things to talk from your 10+ years of work experience but GMAT is also one of the important factors.

Retake the GMAT and aim for a higher score in the 650+ area. That would open many more doors to you, along with the chance to impress the adcom and things do not end with your good GMAT as you need to work hard on your essays and with shortlisting the right b-schools.

Please share your complete profile so that we can evaluate it and let you know the realistic chances of you getting an admit.

Hi,

I got 510 in my first attempt. I have over 10 yrs of exp in banking.
My academics are
Graduation - 8.1 CGPA out of 10
12 th- 81.22%
10th- 87.88%

What are the b schools that I can apply to for a full time MBA in finance.

Hi sailendra1986,

510 on the GMAT is too low a score to be proceeding with. We strongly recommend a retake at this point. A score above 650 will open up some decent options that you may pursue. Of course, it is good to know that you had a good Quant score and makes us believe that with some practice you will be able to emerge with a high overall score as well :)

All the best!
