Hi Munch,

I agree with previous poster that giving your demographic pool, top 30 will be quite challenging. In particular your verbal score will be a red flag, especially given your technical background. If you have taken any communications / public speaking courses, or other exams like the TOEFL where you scored well, then be sure to mention those in your application. Part time programs would be much more reasonable with your current score, though I realize that makes it more challenging to switch careers.

Best of luck!
Kate

Hi All,

I am will grateful if I would get some inputs for my profile.

I wrote my gmat yesterday and got 630, (Q 48 V 27).

I am a 31 year old Indian Female (do not want to mention the age though :? ) with 5+ years international experience and currently in the US
I have close to 10 years of work experience in IT industury.

10th mark - 95 %
12 th -90%
Bachelor of Engineering - 77%
Extra curricular : pretty good

My question is do any of the top 30 business school would consider my application with this gmat score. (I am not planning to retake gmat with a demanding job and demanding kids) But I do want to change my stream to product management, also I prefer a full time program as it helps to switch the stream.
