I am planning to apply for a MiM degree. My target colleges are ESSEC, ESCP, EDHEC.
My current GMAT score is 650. Should I go for a reattempt if I wish to get into my target schools? I will submit my applications in the first round.
PS: I have been preparing for GMAT for quite some time now and right now I am really tired to prepare and go for the exam all over again. Please suggest.
Hi Zaidf123,
650 is a good score to apply for the MIM program from any of these schools you have listed. This year we worked with students who had scores ranging from 650-680 who got into these programs. Just a few aspects of your profile you should make sure you showcase - which will improve your chances of admission.
1. Make sure if you have work experience - you highlight the strengths and skills you earned in the tenure.
2. All these programs have many short essays as part of their application process - Make sure you are very clear on your goals and strengths.
3. Every school has a specific USP. Some have great incubation options for entrepreneurs, some have global internship options and experiential learning - so make sure you focus on how you plan to leverage or contribute to each of these when you are part of the program.
All the best,
Shree
