I feel that all the options can be eliminated rather easily given the fact that our question is looking for an option that weakens a specific problem 
given in the last line. Option a) does not weaken our statement but could potentially even lead to an increase in the number of people using automobiles given the limited number of flights. Moreover, other options do not contradict the issue given at hand and it is only option E that is not futuristic or irrelevant, and weakens the argument.
