Anyone who has lost the faculty of speech because of significant stress is offered hypnotherapy. However, only 90 percent of these patients can talk again after treatment. Obviously, it can be concluded that doctors are not always honest with their patients and sometimes knowingly offer hypnotherapy to people whom it will not help.

The main point in the PARA is that all 100% do not recover through hypnotherapy, so doctors recommending in these 10% are NOT honest and knowingly send the patients through the treatment knowing that they will not get benefited..
we have to WEAKEN the argument so answer should generally tell us that the doctors are NOT dishonest.
lets see the choices
A) All patients who agree to undergo hypnotherapy following loss of the faculty of speech because of significant stress are warned about possible complications or dangers.
Doesn't help in saying that the docs are not dishonest
B) Sometimes people who have lost the faculty of speech because of stress can benefit from hypnotherapy even if it does not help them regain speech.
again out of scope
C) Many have lost the faculty of speech but never experienced significant stress.
Nothing much again
D) Hypnotherapy is often used to determine whether a person is faking or has indeed lost the faculty of speech.
We are not talking of benefits and flaws of a type of treatment
E) There is no sure way to determine whether hypnotherapy will help return the faculty of speech to a particular person who has lost it because of significant stress.
CORRECT.. if there is not a 100% way to tell if a patient requires a therapy or not, it gives another reason for people not benefiting from hypnotherapy
