Argument here says that since population is increasing then Vargonia need to import potatoes in future
Here it is assumed that demand will not decrease as population increases
Now answer choices
A Not all the land in Vargonia currently used for potato cultivation is well-suited for growing potatoes. doesn't matter it is already stated in passage
B None of the varieties of potatoes grown in Vargonia give unusually high yields. variety of potatoes irrelevant
C The population in all regions across Vargonia is expected to increase. population region wise does not matter
D There is no indication that the per capita demand for potatoes in Vargonia will decrease in future.this address main concern.if we negate this then conclusion fall apart
E No other crops grown in Vargonia , apart from potatoes, have a balance of domestic production and demand.not concerned about other crops
