A view fast gaining popularity is that international coaches emphasizing on technique and relying on a strict training regimen are overdoing their job. After all, at the highest level, the professional sportsmen lack neither the skill nor the expertise to perform; therefore, the role of a coach must be more of a people manager and a facilitator.
