area = a*a
a=20-5=15
area = 15*15=225

It is not possible to calculate with this info.

On might able to find a length of a side , but when you start plotting these points you wont end up having a square.

to find the area of square, length of one side is sufficient
from the coordinates given we can find that one side equals 15
hence area 15 * 15 = 225
option D

What is the area of the square with the following coordinates: (x, y), (20, 20), (20, 5), (x, 5)?

A. 60.
B. 85.
C. 125.
D. 225.
E. It cannot be determined from the information given

Length of one side= 15 (20-5)

Since, its a square, the area will be= 15^2= 225

D is the answer
