Hello,
I've been very fortunate to get into a few US BSchools. But I'm a bit confused on which one to attend. It would be great if someone can advise.
The admits I have received are -
1) Foster - No scholarship
2) Kelley - 50% scholarship
I would like to get into Management Consulting or Marketing. I am also not very specific on the type of industry.
My concerns regarding Kelley are -
1) Because of its location, it would be difficult to get internships and placements.
2) A bigger class size. More international students and hence more competition for the companies that come to campus.
3) I'm also a little worried about my GMAT score (690). It might be a little lower compared to the other international students and whether it would lessen my chances of getting an interview call from prospective companies in comparison to other students.
My concerns regarding Foster are -
1) Whether the location advantage is worth it to forgo the financial aid offered by Kelley. Or would the same opportunities be there for international students at Indiana?
Also, the placement statistics are more or less the same for both the schools. I've spoken to students from both the schools and received a positive feedback about the schools.
One of my major concerns is getting a working visa post graduation. I would like to work for some time in the USA to repay off my loan.
Plz help.
Thanks,
Anita
