I highly recommend going to Emory. 60k difference is no joke. And the difference in rankings is very minimal once you get to 20+. The only differentiating factor for the schools ranked 20+ should be the location not the brand nor the rankings.. Rankings change every year so it really should not influence you.

The best thing to do is to visit both schools and have a feel for the community. However this is a no brained. Go to Emory the 60k in savings is a huge bonus!!! It is just as good if not better than the texas arguably.

I think you should watch a great ted talk called 'how to make hard choices or how to make hard decisions.' You should search it in google. It will give you a good framework in terms of thinking about which choice to make. Both schools are great and congratulations for getting into both of them but the amount of debt that you will end up paying does not make going to Texas worth it.

Don't forget to kudos!
