Moore(South Carolina) or SUNY Buffalo

Question

Hi,

The thing I want to ask is recruiting of Indian students in these 2 schools. I haven't received any scholarship details from anyone yet.
How is it for Indian students? Any percentages? or stories about students who got jobs in these schools or didn't get jobs?

Moore has an internatinoal MBA and all, so does that affect recruiting? About internships and full time jobs of both schools.

Which is the better school?
Moreover, I have decisions from George Washington and Northeastern pending.

Any ideas people? I'd really appreciate if people say whatever they want on this. Please be quick.

Hi, I'm international student (Not Indian). I have visited Moore last year and stayed in Columbia (capital of SC) ans stayed for 3 days meeting people, admission and students. For the program, It is truly unique program in certain perspective. It teaches new language and put you in real consulting project in the country that speaks that language from 7-9 months. However, you may end up working in the US after all. As international students, we have a challenge and that being said one of the career service leader. He was so honest that he told me we had failure in recruitment many international students. But, I have an Indian friend who was hired bu Honeywell in TX and there success stories. The new building is really great. The cost of living is relatively low compared to NY or Chicago. I do not know any info about SUNY Bafflo but i believe both are in the same level. You need to check its website. Some people may argue that NY is good place near a lot of opportunists for internationals. It may be true but the competition is high with other schools like Stern. My advice is that you need to postpone paying the deposits until you get a reply from George Washington and Northeastern as both by far are more famous, especially Northwester is elite. Then, you can weigh your options. I always search for the percentage of international employed and salary. When I do not see those info, I cad conclude many things not good for international students.

There are some comments about Suny in GMAT club.

That's great. However, we don't know if these 81% are internationals or US citizens, so can't conclude.

81% overall is a good number though...

There's no such info about Moore on its website though.

Although Moore does not mention its employment rate, I know when I visited them that it was about 87% in 2013. In their website, they ask any student to direct their question to the career office.

Look also for the salary for foreign students in Moore compared to Suny.
