I'm currently doing admission process to EMBA Global Asia (Joint LBS/CBS/HKU) and INSEAD GEMBA for 2020 intake.
I've been invited to visit both school and I will visit the class in EMBA Global Asia class in HK this Aug2019.
I'm 33, holding a director position. To take executive assessment is not my problem.
Now I'm working in financial market - trading and Investment in Thailand & Singapore.
My next 3-5 years plan is to work around financial market in Asia such HK and SG.
Need some help from this forum as I could not summarise the best fit for me.
INSEAD GEMBA
- Has their amazing Leadership Development Program (LDP) the class size is around 200-250 each year. (Which I liked most)
- More classmate and more diversification. Great for sharpening entrepreneurial mindset.
- INSEADer network
EMBA Global-Asia (Joint LBS/CBS/HKU)
- Located in major financial market (New York & London & Hong Kong)
- Has some joint module with EMBA Global-America classmate (which many of them background in Finance and Banking)
- Be alumni from this top 3 schools London Business School, Columbia Business School, Hong Kong University
Please help provide some candid view for both program. Would be appreciate for your expert suggestion

What are your plans for using your MBA? Are you using it to network to a better job or do you feel you have reached a glass ceiling in your current position/company/etc?
I would feel with a triple program you get all the benefits but then it is like working 3 jobs or living in 3 places at the same time. It is overwhelming and you end up spreading too thin. You do bond with your classmates quite a bit since you will be traveling a lot.
I am more inclined towards the INSEAD program due to size and reputation but curious what your post MBA thinking is.

To answer your question. I think I need more global network in finance industry as I plan to set up my own investment consulting/ quantitative trading research firm after EMBA.
Anyway, I also want to develop my leadership skills to prepare myself for the next stage of current career as well.
Both of them are the best on their own competitive edge. Couldn't make a decision on this vacillation
