Congrats on both admits! Definitely see where you're coming from, I chose LBS over Wharton in R1, but have a close friend at HBS who just tried to recruit for summer internships in London. Her plans did shift a bit in light of Covid, but she was able to secure startup internship options in London. This did require leveraging connections across her undergrad/consulting firm/ HBS since she didn't have a lot of formal support from the school and required sponsorship in the UK. As you know, the companies coming to HBS aren't recruiting for their London offices. Not sure what types of firms you're looking at or where you have citizenship, but as long as you're prepared to network a bit more, you should be fine if you choose HBS.
