I (M24) am looking to apply in R1 for ISB's PGP

Academics: 10th: 92% (ICSE)
12th: 70% (ISC)
Undergrad: 9.2/10 - BBA (Hons.) Christ University Bangalore

Work Ex: Around 3.5 years in Bain's Knowledge Centre (BCN)

GMAT FE: 665

Extracurriculars: Won a number of quizzes representing my school - most notably the regional round of TCS IT WIZ with around 1500 participants and another was a quiz hosted by Barry O'Brien. Got featured in the Telegraph a couple times for it. Same in college, although mainly focussed on business quizzes in my undergrad (won in about 6-7 business fests) and won in a couple other events (entrepreneurship, business planning) in business fests organized by colleges across the nation (Jain University Bangalore, SP Jain). Received an extracurricular scholarship as well for the same.

Leadership: I have been leading teams of 3-4 at work and will be highlighting that in my essays. Apart from that, was the president of the quiz society at school and a part of the student council as well. Organized fests in my undergrad, mainly as the event head of business quiz.

My major concern is that my 12th marks are too low. Should I apply in R1 or reattempt GMAT in the next couple months and apply in R2? - what colleges should i apply to

Dear inventoreaut,

We believe you have a well-rounded profile. While you are concerned about the dip in your academic performance in 12th, it is important to note that academic scores are only one aspect of an application. Your strong performance in your undergraduate program, along with your significant work experience and rich extracurricular achievements, certainly put you in a strong position from an ISB application perspective.

Your current GMAT Focus Edition score of 665 is equal to or slightly above the median score for successful ISB admits. We believe this score is good enough for your application, especially when combined with the rest of your profile.

At Team FLY, we are a collective of ISB alumni dedicated to supporting prospective MBA applicants with profile positioning, essay reviews and interview preparation.

For us to understand your profile and your goals better, and to offer more personalised guidance including the schools you could target, please feel free to book a 15 minute free session for a detailed discussion with us: https://calendly.com/reachusfly/15min

With warm regards,
Team FLY
